Antioxidant Free Radicals

The journal, “More than 70% of [populations] may die prematurely from diseases exacerbated by or exacerbated by deficit of the antioxidant network. The recommended daily allowance (SDR) is that we get a daily supply of five to ten portions of fruits and vegetables. The problem is, are we really in a position to do this with our very busy lifestyle? Antioxidant supplements

A supplement is “a substance taken by the mouth which contains a dietary ingredient intended as a supplement to the diet.1” What are supplements? There are a variety of advantages to consuming vitamins, and the fundamental health benefits are “an increased immune system & antioxidant protection system, and a reduced chance of coronary heart disease, stroke, & cancer.2”

Supplement Absorption: Synthetic vs. Natural

Supplements are also a decent supply of your antioxidant needs—provided, of course, that they will properly be consumed by your body.

There are two kinds of vitamins essentially out in the market: synthetic and herbal. Synthetic Supplements in the industry cannot be fully consumed by the body. Being plastic, it is a foreign material, and thus, the body does not know it. And what happens to substances that the body does not recognise? It flushes it out. This is why synthetic supplements normally have higher milligramme content—it is so in the expectation that the body is willing to digest at least half of it.
